Should you really start anyhow?
This screenshot made me pause. I stopped and took it in, even though I’ve probably seen a thousand versions of this same message this year. It doesn’t matter. I’ll always pause because the message is powerful and it can’t be overshared.
But here’s what we often miss when we read things like this: the “start with what you have” part. We read it, but the real meaning barely lands.
If you can afford to plan, to buy the basic tools you need for the journey you claim to want, please do. The world will demand more from you — and rightly so — if you’re not giving what you actually have.
I was talking to someone recently, and they repeated a variation of what’s in this screenshot. The irony? This is exactly why they’re inconsistent. They can afford the essentials. They can build simple systems. But because they rely on the rush that comes from the “start now” gospel, they only create in spurts.
Life will demand from you at the level of the resources you already have. Yes, start now. Start anyhow. But upgrade as soon as you can.
May speed never rob you of excellence, in Jesus’ name.🙏🏾
